If you come to stay at The Jasmine Hotel you are just steps away from Municipal Water Puppet Theatre, sometimes called the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. If you bring the kids and stay with us, please do consider taking them to see the water puppets. You can literally walk down the street to the theatre, and we guarantee that unless they come back to Hanoi – they’ll never see anything like it again. And with prices running about $1.25 for the cheap seats and $2.50 for the best seats, how can you go wrong. They do charge extra for still and video cameras. Shows are at 4:30pm, 6:30pm and 8:00pm with one additional show at 9:3am on Sundays. The programs are free and they explain the plays in multiple languages, so be sure to take one per family.
